Burning of the Canes

WHAT TO EXPECT


This ritual celebrates the end of the grape harvest and the start of the new season’s bud-burst, with grapevine cuttings burnt in a large bonfire to symbolize rebirth.

Come experience the magic of the vineyard at night, matching food and wine journey, whilst relaxing with great company around the fire!

This year, we are excited to take you on a “A Taste Around the World”, led by the talented Twine Restaurant:

  • Asian – Wok fried Szechuan combination with Hokkien noodle | Steamed pork dumplings with chilli soy 
  • Indian – Traditional authentic Rich Curries | Basmati rice | Poppadoms | Mango chutney | Vegetable Samosa 
  • Italian – Rock Lobster and King prawn Ravioli |4 cheese arancini | Risotto
  • German – Assorted Ketwursts using traditional sausage, sauerkraut, mustard and pickle | Warm Pretzel bread
  • Dessert – Petite Fours

 

Enjoy wine with dinner, live music, and great company around the fire. We might have some sneaky new wine releases too!

 

This is an outdoors event so please dress warm!
