Hanging Tree Wines offers one of the most welcoming cellar doors in the Hunter Valley – housed within an old cow-shed teeming with rustic charm.

Set over 40 acres, our grapes are handpicked to produce a variety of sparkling, white, red, sweet and fortified wines.

We also have over 300 olive trees where we handcraft olives, tapenades and olive oils.

Family & pet friendly – with our own resident dogs (Muscat, Bundy, Kahlua & Sambuca), farm animals (chickens, roosters, guinea fowls), kid’s treasure hunt, giant chess & other fun games onsite. We encourage you to wander around and explore the heritage Blacksmith’s Cottage, Horse-Whispering lodge, koi fish pond, rose garden & all the greenery in our Path of Seduction.

LIVE JAZZ – every Sunday from 2pm.

So pop in for a tasting, local cheese platters, estate-grown olives, or other snacks, and enjoy a glass or two!

Our 40 acre vineyard sits on rich volcanic soil & red clay which provides ideal growing conditions for our grapes – which we still lovingly handpick!

The land itself is surrounded by the beauty of the Brokenback Mountain Ranges.
