Burning of the Canes | Sat 25th July

WHAT TO EXPECT

This ritual celebrates the end of the grape harvest and the start of the new season’s bud-burst, with grapevine cuttings burnt in a large bonfire to symbolize rebirth.

Come experience the magic of the vineyard at night, matching food and wine journey, whilst relaxing with great company around the fire!

This year, we are excited to again take you on a “A Taste Around the World”, led by the talented Twine Restaurant:

  • Greek - Grilled lamb, beef and chicken skewers with pita bread and tzatziki | Spanakopita - Spinach and feta pie | Greek salad
  • Spanish - Saffron Rice Paella with fresh seafood, chorizo and lemon | Tortilla De Patatas - Traditional Spanish Omlette | Patatas Bravas - crispy fried potatoes with a mildly spicy, smoky paprika sauce
  • Nepalese - Traditional authentic Rich Curries | Momos bursting with aromatic flavours
  • Dessert - Roaming Hot & Cold Sweet Treats

Enjoy wine with dinner, live music, and great company around the fire. We might have some sneaky new wine releases too!

This is an outdoors event so please dress warm!
